Complex, bright, athletic, delightful,
Daughter of Debra and James Myers,
Lover of her family, animals, and her three pet dogs,
Who feels happy when people make her laugh and smile,
Sad when her mother or father goes away for a long time,
Scared when people pressure her and she is behind on everything,
Who needs help finding herself,
Who gives sunshine to her friends, family, and everyone else around her,
Who fears that someday she will have no shoulder to lean or cry on,
Who dreams of someday being the founder of a famous pet organization,
Resident of Helotes, TX.
Street Music
by Sophie
The always quite music of my street,
with the occasional woof or bark of a dog at night,
The chirp, chirp, chirp of the birds,
The zoom, zip, whoosh of cars driving by,
White flowers, Rain Crocuses, dotting the front lawns.
Street Music.
Northern Mockingbird
Versatile, feathery, omnivore, loud,
Relative of Thrashers,
Lover of insects, seeds, and berries,
Who feels happy when singing,
Sad when blue jays or fish crows eat her chicks,
Scared when being chased by a sharp-shinned hawk, or by a screech owl,
Who needs her father to teach her how to fly,
Who gives life to little chicks,
Who fears her predators,
Who dreams of someday being able to eat all the insects and fruits she wants,
Resident of North America.
