My Street

My street is filled with a song every day and you

Will hear the cars going honk! Beep beep!

And in the night all you can hear,

 If you listen carefully,

 Is the wind go howling

Like it is crying

And the owls are

Making a hooooing sound like they are in the      

Woods and in the night

 I sometimes go to our big

Window and listen to the owls and the wind and

 The cars vroom! Like they are whisping through

 The street on a magic broom or carpet,

 And when I awaken to the bright morning sun,

 the day has started,

And the honk! And the screech!

 Of the cars

The start of another day with a street filled with music.

Jaguarondi

odd, protective, intelligent, small,

Cousin to the jaguar,

Lover of personal space,

Who feels happy when eating rodents,

Sad when its habitat is destroyed,

Scared when they get captured,

Who needs help in the winter,

Who gives care to their kittens,

Who fears extinction of their species,

Who dreams of eating small rodents,

Resident of North and South America.
