Lindsay 

Creative, curious, brave, and  athletic,

   Best friend of Emily, Paige, Hannah,and Sophie,  

Lover of swimming, art, basketball, animals, air soft guns, and football,

Sad when her mom gets deployed,

Scared when she is trapped in really small dark places,

Who needs help with getting so much things off of my mind,

Who gives love to friends and family, 

 gives help to people in need, and confidence to others,

Who fears tornadoes,

 blackouts, and people who drive really

slow around her neighbor hood

Who dreams of being a in the military, FBI, or  army veterinarian,

 getting a Ferrari, athletic career,   

and who wants to live on a 

farm

with horses, cows, pigs, chickens,

 dogs, and a cat,

                             My Street

                     Cling, clash, tweet.

                            The sound of my

                           peaceful Street.

                           The wind

                                           Blows

                                                          Softly and

                                                                            Quietly.

                            Whoosh, whoosh, it goes on for hours,

                              Long quiet hours.

                             The smell of barbecue comes to my nose

                             Sniff, I sigh softly and close my eyes,

                             And think it’s a wonderful smell.

                              I look around desperately trying to find,

                              A beautiful blue butterfly, and then right

                               On my hand is one. I smile and put my

                               Hand in the air then the butterfly flies

                                Away. Cars zoom pass like dogs chasing

                                Frisbee’s, whoosh, softly and quiet.

                         Kiwi's

                       Soft, small, herbivore, fast runner,

                      Mother of humongous eggs,

                         Lover of its environment, loving care, pile of leaves, eggs,

                      Who feels happy when it is free,

                       Sad when environment gets destroyed,

                 Needs help with surviving,

         Who gives love and care to her eggs, food for her family, protection for her eggs, and signals when danger is coming,

                 Who fears deer, hedgehogs, and dogs,

               Who dreams of having a safe environment that is non-threatening,

                  Resident of New Zealand.
